"This was the second type of rod that we took to Jamaica for some fishing. We thought it would be a fun rod to try out on the 'little' fish but it surprised us with its stamina and strength! It regularly pulled in fiteen to twenty pound fish with absolutly no problem, in fact the sensitive tip detected tastier bites which enabled us to get in more fish than the locals who swore by their heavy rods and wire lines.

We used 62lb braid.
