The Minnow is one of the oldest Salmo lures and a classic wobbler. All lures from the Minnow family are characterised by a tight, high frequency action. These are universal lures for catching nearly all predatory fish species in various types of waters. The Minnow can be used with all the standard techniques associated with lures of this type.

This is an all time classic lure pattern that is a necessity for your lure box. In rivers they are superb for big trout, perch and chub. They can be fished upstream, downstream and across the flow. You should always vary the retrieve speed and remember to add occasional twitches. The Minnow 7 Sink is an excellent trolling lure, working well at all boat speeds, tracking deep and true as well as being a favourite in snaggy and rocky venues where the long lip will tip the lure over any obstructions.
