This is the continental edition, with finger pickup bail arm - these are not normally available in the UK, but are incredibly popular on the continent. Basically the reel is identical except for the bail (please see More Info). The basic advantage is that there is no bail spring to wear out ever, though of course they do take a little getting used to.
